Damage Done

While driving down the highway, the lonely and mild-mannered Elliot (Zach Selwyn) picks up gorgeous hitchhiker Andrea (Bonnie Warner) and promptly falls in love with her. Before long, he decides he can lift up the troubled beauty from her life of drugs and crime. Writer-director Roy Burdine follows his two characters through unexpected physical and emotional turns, culminating in an uncompromising -- and thoroughly un-Hollywood -- finale.
